Neil Mohan, President
My name is Neil P
Mohan President of Apostles chapter of CMA Canada.
Have been a member since early 1993 after hanging
around with them since late 1992. I have been in
leadership capacity, being President of four
different chapters throughout Alberta. Married for
over 32yrs to Elaine with 2 grown sons, their wives
and 2 grandsons. CMA has been more than a ministry
for me, it has been a passion to see Christ's
mission to bikers/ motorcyclists in western Canada,
and its with that commitment that I am in leadership
with the Apostles. "Unashamed boldness sharing the
message of love and hope to those we affect, here
when they need us!"

Warren Steckly, Vice
President
My name is Warren Steckly,
Vice-President for the Apostles chapter of CMA
Canada. I have been riding with the Apostles since
2007. I share my love for motorcycles and Jesus with
my wife Michelle of 4 years and most recently my son
Dean who is now 9 weeks old! I have been riding
since I was 18, struggling to find my place to fit
in. I felt God leading me to the CMA and the
Apostles. Michelle and I were greeted with open arms
and had finally found a place to hang out where we
are accepted for who we are! I was raised in a
Christian home by two loving parents but always
seemed to live the "learn the hard way" lifestyle.
Through the Apostles I have been taught to love God,
fellow bikers, and have a support group of brothers
and sisters who share an unashamed boldness for
Jesus Christ with the biking community. I currently
ride a 2007 Harley Davidson Dyna Wide Glide and also
a 1975 Shovelhead bobber. Hope to see you on the
open road! |

Matt Mohan, Road
Captain
My name is Matt Mohan. I
have been a member of the Apostles since January of
2009. I am a very new member, however, I have been
around the CMA, and the Apostles since I was very
young. My wife Melissa and I have been married for
just over 2 years and we have 2 pit bulls (children)
named Jewelz and Harley. I ride a customized 2001
Yamaha V star 1100 Classic, and I was attracted to
the CMA for many reasons. My love for the Lord, and
Motorcycles. Great fellowship with friends and family,
and being there when people need me. This year I am
very proud to have the Road Captain position in the
Chapter, and I look forward to many more years
of fun and Fellowship. God Bless :) |

Rick Johnson,
Chaplain
My name is Rick Johnson, Chaplain of the Apostles.
I've been a member of CMA for 11 years and this is
my first time serving as an officer. It's a position
I am honored to be in and consider it with humility.
The following words should suffice as to what I'm
about. Wherever you are in life, know this, that
these, my brothers and sisters are here for the sole
purpose of relaying the hope they have in Jesus
Christ to you, so that you too can truly live in
indescribable joy, that even death can't swallow up.
Nor sickness, nor pain, nor sorrow, nor... you fill
in the blank with what ever drags you down and keeps
you from becoming all that you were intended to be.
We'll be here when you're ready. Peace, Love and
Respect. |

Elaine
Mohan, Secretary
My name is Elaine S
Mohan, secretary to Apostles chapter of Christian
Motorcyclists Association. Apostles became a
chapter March 2004, was a ride group for almost one
year prior to acquiring its chapter status. I am
married to Neil since Sept. 11th, 1976, a mother of
two grown sons, their wives and two grandsons.
Started riding a dirt bike back when I was 18, then
followed by learning to ride a street bike and
finally riding with a passenger when my oldest son
was 10. I love riding, that is when I feel closest
to God at times. Started hanging out with CMA early
1992 and then became a member spring of 1993 because
I believed that this was a great ministry
opportunity. Have owned Hondas, Harleys, and
Yamahas in my travels, but I now own a 2005 HD
Heritage Softail. GOD bless!

Theresa
Gonzalez, Treasurer
My name is Theresa
Gonzalez and I am the Treasurer for the
Apostles. I have been a member of the CMA since
2001 and have served on the executive of two
different chapters. I married Mike Gonzalez on
July 27, 2002 in an outdoor ceremony with 26
bikes lining the aisle. The wedding procession
through Cochrane and Calgary sure turned a few
heads, with Mike in his tux and myself all in
white. I started riding dirt bikes when I was
in my early 20's. Even though I had to sell my
first street bike, I never lost the passion for
riding. Years later after meeting several CMA
members, I knew I wanted to become a part of
it. It is hard to describe the joy and
satisfaction I experience when serving God and
others while doing something I love. My
current bike is a 2005 Dyna Super Glide Custom.
Enjoy the ride!
